Maemo is an open development platform to create applications for Nokia 770 Internet Tablet and other maemo compliant handheld devices in the future. The platform gives developers an easy to use development environment and a end user optimized interface customized for handhelds.

Maemo 2.0 beta together with Internet Tablet OS 2006 edition BETA is released and available for download. The beta release is for maemo developers.
