Senseboard Virtual Keyboard

Senseboard Virtual Keyboard consists of a pair of hand modules with a pad that is placed in the palm of one’s hand, and enable the users to type without the physical limitations of a standard keyboard. It’s a device for text entry into all stationary and mobile communication systems for people who use touch-typing.

The Virtual Keyboard utilizes sensor technology and artificial intelligence (pattern recognition) to recognize the characters a user is typing. It detects the movements of the hands and fingers and relates them to how touch typists would use a standard QWERTY keyboard. The information is then transferred to a mobile device such as a personal digital assistant (PDA) or a smartphone using a Bluetooth wireless connection.

Vaya, parece que la industria de los interfaces tiene mucho que mostrarnos todavía. No me queda claro si es un prototipo o están a punto de comercializarlo, pero sea como fuere este dispositivo puede convertirse en todo un referente.
